The sailing events of the summer season 2024 are on their way
Its name derives from the Latin word aura (breath) and is, effectively, one of the distinctive features of Garda Trentino. What are we talking about? Of the famous Ora del Garda, of course! It's the wind from the Po Valley that starts with very light intensity around noon and steadily strengthens, giving a fresh and lively atmosphere to the northern shore of Lake Garda.
A true idol for all water sports enthusiasts - from windsurfing to kitesurfing, from sailing to canoeing, and even water skiing - the Ora has helped this region establish itself as the ideal destination for outdoor sports lovers who thrive on water and wind. It is thanks to the growing interest shown over the years by tourists, athletes and amateurs, that the Garda Trentino area has now become a natural amphitheater to host major events and sporting competitions at a national and international level.
The Sailing Events 2024 on Lake Garda
Summer is coming. The first (and not only) sailing events of the season are arriving. The long-awaited summer solstice is scheduled for Thursday 20 June 2024 at 10.50 pm, the natural turning point that will officially kick off the summer on Lake Garda.
